Income reconciliation

When you receive income for accounts receivable, it's important that the income is reconciled to the invoice you issued so you know if it's been paid or not. Thriday takes care of this reconciliation automatically, so you know much is income, how much is GST and then what invoices have been paid. Bookipi does not offer automated income reconciliation, so you have to check and mark your invoices as paid manually.

GST tracking

As a business you need to keep records that show the income and expenses used to calculate and support the GST amounts you claim for GST credits. Thriday makes this really easy to do, because ass you spend or earn more, all GST is instantly tracked and available in your reports. From here, if you are registered for GST, you can view and lodge your Business Activity Statement to the ATO. Bookipi does not support GST tracking on business transaction account spend.

Bill payment manager

When bills come into your inbox, what do you do? Everyone has a different approach, but one thing is always common, it takes a lot of time and creates a huge amount of frustration. Thriday has flipped the old approach on it's hard, and instead of manually paying bills via online banking, you can just forward, snap or upload an image of your bill and Thriday will scan all the details and get a payment ready for you to approve. Tax estimates

Bookipi is an invoicing tool that really lacks in any other features besides sending an invoice. Thriday on the other hand includes not only invoicing but business Visa Debit cards, business transaction accounts, payments, BAS lodgment and cashflow forecasting. Thriday is an all-in-one financial management platform design for small businesses.

Set budgets

Once you are registered with Thriday, you will have access to a business transaction account and Debit Card. With this account and card you can instantly budget and track all your expenses. This makes it easy to see exactly how your business is performing. Bookipi does not provide any functionality to track budgets linked to your business transaction account or debit card.

Apple and Google Pay

Thriday's Business Visa Debit card is one area which really stands it apart from Bookipi. With the card you can pay for expenses anywhere Visa is accepted. You can also add your Thriday Visa Debit card to Apple and Google Pay. Bookipi does provide any transaction cards of support Apple or Google Pay.

Unlike Bookipi, Thriday provides a comprehensive all-in-one financial management platform that allows you to track your income and expenses in real-time. Bookipi does not provide any option to do this.

Because Bookipi only focuses on invoicing, there is not really much more you can do when it comes to streamlining your financial admin. Thriday on the other hand allows you to make payments, view your cashflow and even setup business transaction accounts. These accounts are protected under the Financial Claims Scheme which means your money is secure.

Call centre support

Thriday knows that busy business owners don't have time to waste trying to review FAQs or send emails. Thriday has a call centre that is available from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. You just need to call 1800-THRIDAY. Bookipi does not provide call centre support.
