How do I edit a Payment recipients' details?

To edit the information of a payment recipient: 1. From the Home screen, click on Invoices 2. Click on CLIENTS 3. Locate the recipient your want to edit 4. Click on the options action 5. Click on Edit 6. You can edit your recipient's details here 7. You can also amend additional recorded information 8. After you have made the relevant changes click on SAVE CHANGES

How can I refund a payment?

To make a refund, please contact your client, confirm their bank account BSB and Account Number. Once you have the correct details, go to the Payments screen and send a payment back to your client. 

How do I change my default daily payment limit?

Go to Settings, then select Payments. On the Limits tab, you can reduce the limit in $1,000 increments down to a minimum of $1,000. You can also increase it up to a maximum of $10,000 per day. If you increase your limit, you will be required to complete a two-factor authentication request.

How do I delete a payee?

To manage your recipients on your Thriday transaction account: 1. From the Home screen, click on Invoices 2. Click on CLIENTS 3. Select the options action next to the client you want to remove 4. Click on Delete 5. Click on YES

What is a telegraphic transfer?

Telegraphic transfers involve an electronic transfer of funds from one bank account to another overseas bank account. As the transferred funds typically go through a network of correspondent banks before being deposited into the elected account, it can take 3-5 business days for the transfer to be processed. A telegraphic transfer through your Transaction Account will incur a $15.00 fee. 

Why does my 'Payments' screen say "You are unable to make payments at this time"?

If you see this error message, it means our transaction service is down. We encourage you to try again later, but if the issue persists longer than 24 hours please feel free to call us on 1800 THRIDAY (1800 847 43 29) or email us at wecare@thriday.com.au.

How do I view my past payments?

Thriday records all payments and transactions you make through your transaction account and Visa Debit Card. To view your transaction history:  1. From the Home screen, click on Accounts 2. Click on the filter function 3. Under the Transaction Type tab, click on PAYMENT 4. Click on APPLY FILTER

How do I know if my payment has been successful?

Want to keep track of your transactions with Thriday or using your Thriday Visa Debit Card? You're in the right place! Thriday organises all such transactions, and here's how you can view the status of your payment: 1. From the Home screen, click on Accounts 2. Locate your transaction 3. A completed transaction will be recorded in your transactions history without a pending status 4. A pending status next to your transaction indicates that your transaction is still being processed

Why are payments sometimes delayed?

There can sometimes be delays when processing payments due to a number of factors. Things such as national public holidays, weekends, back-office functions being closed, differences in technology used by banks and payment methods would all impact processing times in different ways. If you happen to be experiencing a delay, rest assured that is likely temporary and that for a transaction to stay pending for a couple of days is perfectly normal. If you continue to experience delays beyond a few days, please feel free to call us on 1800 THRIDAY (1800 847 43 29).

What payments can I make with Thriday?

With a Thriday transaction account, you will not only be able to automate the financial admin of your business but also transact through Thriday’s platform with a range of payment options available to you from day one so that you can hit the ground running. Thriday’s payments feature will allow you to:  Pay Anyone via electronic bank transfer  Pay your bills via BPAY or your Thriday Visa Debit Card  Every Thriday transaction account comes with a Visa Debit Card which can be used to pay online or in-store for purchases  Schedule recurring payments to suppliers  Easily transfer money between multiple accounts  Establish direct debit with your service provider Bank@Post (fees and charges will apply)

How do I transfer money from one Thriday account to another?

If you would like to transfer funds between your Thriday transaction accounts:  1. From the Home screen, click on Payments 2. Toggle to the account you want to transfer from 3. Click on TRANSFER 4. Edit the transfer amount, message and when to make the transfer 5. Click MAKE TRANSFER

I sent funds to the wrong account.

If you would like us to find or recall an incorrect payment, please call us on 1800 THRIDAY (1800 847 43 29) or email us at  wecare@thriday.com.au. Where you erroneously request a funds transfer to an external account and subsequently request us to check the transaction, you may be liable for a Trace Fee of $10.00. In addition, if you ask us to attempt to reverse the transaction, a Recall Fee of $25.00 may also apply. 

How do I pay someone on Thriday?

To make a payment through Thriday: 1. From the Home screen, click on Payments 2. Click on ADD NEW RECIPIENT 3. Enter the payment information 4. Click on MAKE PAYMENT and follow the two-factor authentication prompts

What if I accidentally pay the wrong person?

If you have accidentally paid the wrong person and would like us to find or recall an incorrect payment, please get in contact with us immediately by calling us on 1800 THRIDAY (1800 847 43 29) or email use at wecare@thriday.com.au with the details of the transaction. Where you erroneously request a funds transfer to an external account and subsequently request us to check the transaction, you may be liable for a Trace Fee of $10.00. In addition, if you ask us to attempt to reverse the transaction, a Recall Fee of $25.00 may also apply. 

How can I transfer funds between my Thriday transaction accounts?

How long will my Visa Debit Card take to arrive?

Your Thriday Visa Debit Card will take 7-10 business days to arrive to you.

Does Thriday support PayID, Osko and the New Payments Platform?

Thriday’s transaction accounts does not support the New Payments Platform just yet. We expect to be able to add this functionality in the near future to enable our members to make payments via PayID and Osko. This means that once you register for PayID, you will able to pay people just by entering their phone number, email address or ABN/ACN instead of a BSB and account number.  

Who can I pay with my Thriday transaction account?

Thriday’s payments feature will allow you to pay anyone with an Australian bank account. To send money within Australia, you just need to enter their account name, number and BSB to the recipient profile you’re sending money to.  

How do I transfer funds to my Thriday account?

If you would like to transfer funds to your Thriday transaction account, go to the Accounts screen, identify the correct transaction account and click the ‘Add Funds’ button near the top right-hand corner of the screen. After that, you will be shown your transaction account’s BSB and Account number which you can use to perform a transfer to. 1. From the Home screen, click on Accounts 2. Click Add Funds where you can transfer money to your BSB and Account Number

How do I add a new payment recipient?

To add a new payment recipient: 1. From the Home screen, click on Payments 2. Click on ADD NEW RECIPIENT 3. Enter the new recipient's details 4. Click on MAKE PAYMENT

How do I make a payment through Thriday?

I made a payment to the wrong account.

Can I schedule a payment on Thriday?

The scheduling feature will allow you to schedule your payments for any date up to 12 months in advance, allowing you to track your expenses and budget accordingly.  To schedule a payment on Thriday: 1. From the Home screen, click on Payments 2. Under the When tab, click on future 3. Input your preferred date 4. Click on MAKE PAYMENT

When can I make a payment on Thriday?

You can make or schedule payments anytime you like! It may be helpful to know that during national public holidays and weekends, back-office functions are closed. Therefore, some payments may not be processed immediately, such as external transfers and BPAY payments. However, card and New Payment Platform (NPP) payments are not impacted by these closures.   

I want to verify that a cheque I deposited was delivered correctly.

You may request to verify whether a written cheque has been deposited or reached its intended destination. Additionally, if you would like a copy of a personal cheque that you have deposited or a Financial Institution Cheque, please get in contact with us at wecare@thriday.com.au Please note that obtaining verification of a deposit, obtaining a copy of a personal cheque that you have deposited, or a Financial Institution Cheque will incur a fee of $15.00.

How do I change my transaction limit?

To change your daily transaction limit:  1. From the Home screen, click on Settings 2. Click on Payment 3. Click on LIMITS 4. Adjust your payment limit

Can I increase my daily cash withdrawal limit?

Hey big spender! Yes, you sure can. Similar to other debit cards, there is a preset daily limit for cash withdrawal of $1,000 per day , which resets at midnight Sydney time.   If you would like to increase this particular daily limit, please call 1800 THRIDAY (1800 847 43 29), and a Thriday representative will be able to talk about increased options with you.

What are my transaction limits?

Similar to other transaction accounts, Thriday has a maximum daily payment limit. This is done to comply with Australian banking regulations as well as for security purposes. The overall domestic transfer limit is $10,000 which can be used by the following payment methods:  Transfers to a bank or financial institution are limited by your daily limit of $10,000 BPAY payments are limited to a maximum of $10,000  Transfers to a bank or financial institution using Osko have a daily limit of $2,000 There are no limits on transferring between your Thriday transaction accounts and they will not impact your daily limit It may be useful to know that the daily limit resets midnight Sydney time and you can change your own daily limit in the Settings screen. However, you can’t make them greater than the maximum amount as stated above. You can check your remaining limit for that day under ‘Amount’ each time you make a payment.  

What's my daily payment limit?

Thriday currently has a $10,000 maximum per day payment limit for direct entry and BPAY payments. You can reduce your limit below $10,000 via the Settings > Payments screen.

What if I don’t want to pay on a certain date?

No problem, just visit the bills section and change the scheduled date and you’re good to go.

What’s a direct entry payment?

A direct entry payment is a payment to a BSB and Account Number.

What if there isn’t enough money in my transaction account?

‘Bill Buster’ is a smart recommendation engine that considers the due date, expected revenue or ability to pay.

If, by chance, you’ve accepted a recommended payment date or manually scheduled a payment and you don’t have enough money in your transaction account when the payment is supposed to be processed then the payment won't process, and the bill will remain in the repayment queue.

Does Thriday support PayTo?

PayTo is a new form of direct debit that is a fast and secure way to digitally authorise payments from your bank account. Thriday does not currently support PayTo but it is something we are exploring and have on our roadmap.

What if I already have direct debits set up in another account?

No problem, we can provide instructions on transferring your direct debits to your Thriday transaction account once you become a Thriday member.

How do I add funds to my Thriday transaction account?

If you'd like to transfer funds to your Thriday transaction account, go to the Accounts screen, find the correct transaction account and click the 'Add Funds' button near the top right-hand corner. After that, you will be shown your transaction account's BSB (932 000) and Account number, which you can use to perform a transfer to.
