Tell us a little about your most recent work experiences…
Prior to Thriday I was a senior front end developer at EugeneLabs, a startup in the health/genetics space. I was the main developer for their internal app, Genie. Genie acts as the user management system for both the staff and clients, and does the daily tasks for each department in the company - be it for logistics or clinical purposes.
Before I entered the startup world, I have worked at multiple digital agencies. During my agency-land adventure I have done everything from creating eDM campaigns to building a full blown enterpriseCMS systems, for small, medium, large and government clients.

Just like those pesky weeds in the garden, I can thrive anywhere, any season. Persistence and adaptability is the secret of my power. Cut me down and I will grow back stronger. Take good care of me and I will grow stronger and give you flowers.
Share a little bit about your personal interests…
I Netflix and chill (literally) to wind down after a long day (or after socializing), I enjoy tasting different kinds of food (as long as there’s no insects involved), and my latest obsession is pottery.
Which small business do you personally love the most…
There’s a little brunch cafe near my home called Jock & Mack, which my family often visits. They have amazing mushroom truffle toastie, and since they’re dog friendly, we can bring our pup there to socialize too.
And there’s this art studio called Handmaker's Factory, which offers a lot of different kinds of workshops for all levels. This is where I plan to do my pottery wheel learning :)
Favourite movie, song and food!
Movie: Frozen - shared a great memory with my daughter over this one
Song: I don’t really have one.. I usually listen to whatever’s on the radio
Food: Pasta is my comfort food, but nigiri sushi is the one thing I can happily eat everyday for the rest of my life
