The 30X30 program is an initiative launched by LaunchVic, a Victorian government agency responsible for supporting and growing the startup ecosystem in the Australian state of Victoria. The program aims to support the development of 30 high-growth, globally scalable startups in Victoria by 2030.

The 30X30 LaunchVic program is part of a broader strategy by the Victorian government to position the state as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. By supporting high-growth startups, the program aims to create new jobs, attract investment, and drive economic growth in Victoria.

The program is open to startups across various industries, including technology, health, education, and social enterprise. The startups must have a presence in Victoria and demonstrate their commitment to growing their business in the state.

Thriday's automated bookkeeping and accounting platform, which streamlines financial admin for small businesses, is excited to announce it has been selected in the 2023 program intake and is well-positioned to take advantage of the program's tailored support for scale-up founders.

We are thrilled to be accepted into LaunchVic's 30X30 program," said Michael Nuciforo, co-founder and CEO of Thriday. "The first program included household names like Mr Yum and July, and this program will provide us with the resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to accelerate our growth to the next level."

Thriday, which has raised $9 million in total, has launched a next-generation accounting platform that automates bookkeeping, calculates taxes, and shows the health of a business in real time. With built-in bank accounts* and Visa Debit cards*, banking happens in the same platform as accounting, with no need to navigate between different tools. Thriday's solution saves business owners a huge amount of time and reduces the need for finance knowledge or training.

LaunchVic's 30X30 program provides sponsored executive education and access to a range of mentors who have been through the scaling journey as a leader in either HR, Operations, or Finance. Thriday's leadership team will also have access to LaunchVic's extensive domestic and international networks and media and marketing opportunities to profile their scale-up.

"We have ambitions to launch Thriday overseas, and the 30X30 program will give us the support and guidance to do that," said co-founder and COO Ben Winford. "Thriday's platform is a game-changer for small businesses, and we believe we have the potential to make a significant dent in a market worth $1 trillion globally."
